Soft Tissue Support

Many patients end up with recession defects after going through orthodontic movements regardless of using braces or clear aligners. Your orthodontist may notice you are at risk and ask you to get a consult with our office prior to the start of your treatments. In such cisrcumstances we either give you clearance and monitor your tissue during your orthodontics treatment or may recommend soft tissue augmentation prior to the start of your orthodontic treatment. In other cases you may be referred to our periodontists after your orthodontic treatment is completed. In these cases patients typically have developed a recession defect and need it repaired.
